(G3)   Ephesos, Ionia  AR tetradrachm  ca 390-330 BC  similar to Sear 4372 but has different magistrate  Bee with straight wings, forepart of stag right, looking back; palm tree behind.  Ephesos was founded by Ionian colonists under Androklos.  Of great importance during Greek and Roman times because of the sanctuary of the Ephesian Artemis dating from the time of Kroisos of Lydia.  It was here that Saint Paul ran afoul of the silversmiths in the first century AD.  This coin, a nice fine with attractive toning.......$325
